In December 2007 I requested my private loan company give me some sort of lower payment or a foreberance as I was and still am having a financial hardship. They told me that they could only offer a foreberance for 30 days only. Of course this offer was not going to help me out so I stopped making payments. Long and behold 6 months later CA Van Rue started calling me and I explained to them the situation. After they could'nt get any money from me, A new CA NCO financial is down my back. Last week, after many threatening calls I recieved from them, I told them to only contact me via us postal service. All has been quite but I am afraid that they may take me to court and try to garnish my wages. Is there a way to deal with them to keep the loan from going into a legal court action? I am years away from the SOL. Any suggestions would be helpful
