SLAVE welcomes individuals who are current or former employees or professionals in the student loan industry to join our organization. Many employees or former employees of student loan lenders, guarantors, servicers, secondary market purchasers of student loans, and the U.S. Department of Education have direct personal knowledge of the harm caused to student borrowers due to the effect of statutes, regulations, formal operating procedures, and informal practices mandated by their employers. We welcome all persons with direct knowledge of how the student loan industry harms student loan borrowers, and of particular harms caused by specific employers, to participate in the SLAVE community and to voice their objections to industry practices and procedures that harm student loan borrowers.

SLAVE is seeking current or former student loan industry personnel with direct personal knowledge of industry practices and procedures that have harmed student loan borrowers to register their interest in providing testimony regarding those practices in support of litigation to protect the interests of student loan borrowers. Use the industry personnel submission form to provide a brief description of the harms you have witnessed, and to express your willingness to participate in student loan litigation.

Membership in SLAVE is limited to individuals who support the SLAVE mission to protect the interests of student loan borrowers. Membership is free, so we invite current or former student loan industry personnel who support the SLAVE mission to create a new member account today.
