Retaliation
Under retaliation for raising concerns of abuses of the student loan "system":
I have a pretty good firewall and it has been regularly blocking, by name, the regional subsidiary of Chase Manhattan bank, the trillionaire, #1 educational lender, now being boycotted for profitteering and trafficking in actual child slavery in Africa, trying to get at the BIOS section of the MS DOS portion (under the user-friendly shell) of *my* computer's operating system, as I surf the SLAVE site. This firewall also alerts me to almost continual blocks of many other continual cyberattacks (gvt.? financial businesses? or hybrids?) cloaked in aliases.
Under the rubric of pre-retaliation, i.e. abuse, from the realms of specialized financial businesses with government backing and therefore above the law:
Did you ever go surfing online for help, support and suggestions on dealing with our collectively undealable, grossly isolating, financial trouble and come across the entity, now completely erased from internet memory: "youwillpay.com" around 2002?
Have you seen the pseudo-newspaper which litters every horizontal surface of today's college campuses, the obvious successor to youwillpay.com, put out by a "prominent" government guaranteed lender AES, called "The You Can Deal Journal", promoting youcandealwithit.com ?
The ersatz newspaper features snide crossword puzzles and mocking articles such as "Money Not Found on Trees- Fathers everywhere proved right" and "Recent Grad Forgets to Pay Back Student Loan-- Strategy Backfires" and "Police Nab Student Loan Defaulter--Six-hour standoff ends in brutal default penalty", with an accompanying photo of an actor in a police uniform, talking into a microphone saying: "Crime Doesn't pay", said officer Pat Denton. "And when you don't pay, it's a crime." There are other articles which mock homeless people who live in cardboard boxes (NO, I am not making this up!),insulting the intellegence, good sense and morality of college students and youth in general, 2 idiotic pieces making light of the value of college sports, all in service of the message of intimidation, compliance and the futility of being (presumed) unwilling or somehow unable to pay back educational debt.
Sophomores and freshmen are neither this sophomoric, cynical, brutally sarcastic nor self-serving. What an ugly and morally dissapated item to intentionally plant in the environment of American youth.
Oddly, this paper is not marked as an advertisement anywhere, nor is there a masthead which identifies the people responsible nor their true contact information, which is required by law for all periodicals.
Who pays for this crapulence to be written and distributed on this scale? How much does it cost? What is the actual circulation? Who writes it and how much are they paid? Who pays for the circulation? I hate to think of this being a college aid job..
It appears that this rag is a vile spawn of the wildcat, unregulated sector of the nouveau financial world order, that became uncontrollably large while successfully dealing in vital commodoties placing a bounty on the lives of many for the profit of the few, going rank, sprouting horns and a pointy tail and growing out of control some time during the 1980's.
Once in my mid 20's (in those same disgusting 80's) a collection agent said he could see where I was and was going to come over with dogs to take me to jail because I had defaulted on my student loans. I had nightmares for years about this...even though I knew it couldn't have been true, simply because it was such an evil thing for a mere bill collector to say to a young person and I did not know how far such a person might eventually go.
Now we know.
Do you have other evidence that we are approaching the lawless period proceeding the end times?
And one more thought while I'm riled up:
Tell old Pharoh,
to let my people go!
